Tutorials & Resources
a peek over the irmel's shoulder

Introduction

I often get asked how I did this or that and if I have some time, I usually try to write a tutorial or a walkthrough. When I started out, I did nothing but read tutorials, they taught me a lot, and I'd like to give something back. But if you don't want to put in some time and effort to actually learn to use a tool (be it Photoshop or how to CSS your dA-journal), don't come to me, I won't do it for you. I can help, but I won't do it in your stead. No master has ever fallen from heaven (German saying, "practice makes perfect" in English) and you will never be able to create something you have in mind solely by relying on others...

If you want to keep up to date with my tutorials (and perhaps could use some stock pictures or Photoshop brushes etc, too) you can watch my dA stock account kuschelirmel-stock.deviantArt.com. For my older tutorials (not listed here, at least not currently), please visit photoshop-tutorials.deviantArt.com, you can also find tutorials written by other artists there.
